            Warranty & Sales Policies

New Parts have a 1 YEAR Replacement Warranty. The one year begins from date of purchase....not the date of installation.  Do not ask us to warranty an item older than one year. The manufacturers will not make an exception. We will not pay for return shipping on defective parts. However, once an item is return and approved for warranty, we will ship the replacement part at our expense to you....provided you are a customer within USA.  We will not pay for any shipping costs to or from for Export Customers. Our margins are far to low to justify covering export shipping costs. All warranties are subject to manufacturer approval. Rarely does a manufacture reject a warranty claim but it can happen in the case of neglect or abuse on the part of the customer. Parts used for RACING purposes do not have a warranty.

Used Parts- the replacement warranty on USED (ie second hand) parts varies from item to item. The minimum warranty is 30 days. The warranty may be longer. Please ask before buying. Unless specified otherwise, any used part will have a 30 day warranty. We strongly advise that you fit the part immediately. The warranty does NOT begin after you install the part.

Rebuilt (also called Remanufactured) Parts have a replacement /or repair warranty. The Warranty is valid from the date of purchase (not your installation date).  All items carry a 1 YEAR warranty UNLESS specified otherwise on your invoice. The warranty is bound by the terms of the manufacturer. In other words, the manufacturer may refuse a warranty although this is a very unusual event. An example of this situation is when a part suffers unusual abuse such as racing damage or damage from incorrect installation)


BEFORE Shipping a return back to us. Call your salesperson to discuss the problem to make sure that you have a valid warranty issue. There are many cases in which a customer thinks he has a faulty part when in fact, there may be another problem. We may be able to offer you some advise on possible fixes.

CORE RETURNS- If you are returning an old CORE part to receive a refund of your CORE charge, you do not need to phone in advance for approval to ship back.  Once in our hands, it takes approximately 30 days to issue a core refund. If you originally paid with a credit card, we will issue the refund back to the same credit card. If you did not pay by credit card, the refund will be mailed to you in the form of a company check. WE DO NOT ACCEPT C.O.D. CORE RETURNS. Ship Core returns to:

YOU MUST INSURE YOUR RETURN PACKAGE and send with delivery confirmation. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged while intransit to us. If you choose not to insure or get delivery confirmation, WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGE.

SPECIAL ORDERS -  We are delighted to huge amounts of time and energy to locate and supply thousands of parts that we do not stock. These are considered to be SPECIAL ORDER parts. Any item that is special ordered is NOT refundable. We will honor any warranty situation.  However, we will not issue a refund for an item that is special ordered. The only exception is if our vendor fails to supply the item in a reasonably expected delivery time. Once the order is placed and paid for in advance as required, you are bound by these terms. Do not call back later to say that you have changed your mind or that you found the part elsewhere. You will not receive a refund. Make certain before ordering that you are ordering exactly what you need and are willing to wait for the delivery within the general timeframe given to you by our sales staff.

RETURNING PARTS FOR REFUND-  You must phone your salesperson to arrange the return of a part that you do not need.  Special Ordered Parts and all electrical/electronic parts are non refundable. No part will be accepted for return after 30 days from purchase. Authorized returns will be accessed a 20% restocking fee. We will not pay for return shipping. 

DAMAGED / MISSING PARTS - If you receive a part that is damaged. Immediately phone your sales person. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE BOX OR ANY PACKING CONTENTS. Your salesman will arrange for an insurance claim to be filed with the shipping agent. (usually UPS). The salesman will also work with you to get a replacement part(s) to you as quickly as possible. If you specify shipping by US Postal Service, we will not be responsible for loss or damage unless the package is sent by Express Mail service. We automatically insure packages sent by UPS (United Parcel Service).

INCORRECT PARTS - It is our goal to supply the correct part every time. However, occasionally a customer will receive a part that is incorrect for the application. This can be a result of an error on our part or the manufacturer...such as misboxing, mislabeling, or an inaccurate catalog reference. Sometimes even the factory parts catalog can be in error! An error can also occur if the customer gives us incorrect or incomplete information regarding the application. In any of these situations, please contact your salesperson immediately so that we can work with you to determine the best course of action given the circumstances. YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE or we will not be able to accept back the return.
